amanda falkson, director coaching city
As an individual executive coach and mentor, Amanda’s business background includes working in top creative teams in some of London’s legendary advertising agencies on a portfolio of blue chip accounts.
She then followed her entrepreneurial instinct and set up and ran a successful events management company. During this period, she co-founded 'The Food Chain’, a London-wide charity that cooks and delivers specially prepared, nutritionally balanced meals for people living with HIV/AIDS.
She eventually reached her own ‘career crossroads’ and retrained in the field of integrative medicine. For 14 years she had a physical therapies and counselling practice.
She went on to train as a humanistic and integrative psychotherapist and is accredited with the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy.
Amanda runs ‘Tough at the Top’, coaching CEOs and senior managers in the not-for-profit and NGO sector. She writes as the career coach in Third Sector Magazine.
Clients who work with Amanda benefit from her warmth, humour and creativity and many find her knowledge of integrative medicine to manage stress-related conditions invaluable. She loves exploring the City on the weekends and stumbling across oases of peace.
Amanda is passionate about coaching and mentoring clients to have robust, healthy and boundaried professional lives. Using warmth, good humour, focus and clarity, she supports clients to achieve their full potential as leaders. She is particularly interested in helping leaders and senior managers to build confidence and self-belief and supporting clients through complaints, litigation and to manage challenging relationships.
